Welcome to Week Twenty-Five of the Year of Weeks, Joan Dance Paintings. On this Week we bring an Image that has been done before by Ms Dance. This time she has added a little extra to the subject. The image comes with a sing-song to go along. The song goes, "Little Sally Walker sitting in a saucer, rise Sally rise, wipe your weeping eyes, turn to the east, turn to the west, turn to the one that you love the best." In the game the one that she turns to is the new one that goes in the middle of the circle and becomes the new Sally Walker. The games that children play are always rooted in things that are happening in their lives. What is happening in your life right now ? Can those issues be worked out in a song ? When the play is done are the problems solved ? I certainly hope that they are resolved by having been looked at. Happy Fathers Day to all of the Fathers. Happy beginning of the Summer season, may this season bring all that your heart desires. |
