Girl Sitting

Welcome to Paducah Purchase, the home of  Reproductions of Joan Dance Art. On today we see before us the Image "Young Lady". We see a young lady. She seems well collected. She neither smiles nor frowns. She sits on a chair, that sits on a multicolor rug, that lies on a wooden floor. Through drawn patterned curtains we see a clear day outside. The sun appears over her left shoulder. She sits and thinks. She appears to have done all that she can do and now she allows the Lord to work things out. We sometimes have to sit still and wait on the Lord. There are Two Trees which symbolize fruitfulness and bareness.

I must say your writers are really efficient. They wrote an entire story on just a piece of painting. By the way is this piece still available?

The creation of such an image is characterized by the realistic features that can be traced in a young girl. The picture was created with a great skill.

It seems to me that this young lady, why a very sad one, makes such an impression.
