Welcome once more to Edmonds Gallery the home of Joan Dance Paintings. On today we take the time to appreciate the time of year. Late spring is the perfect time, and if I could freeze time and enjoy one season only, this would be the season. We see in the image a man in the act of catching a fish. It looks like the fish has just struck the line and the man is in the process of setting the hook. If one wants to pull in the fish one has to assure that the hook is set. In that way the fish has no chance of getting off of the hook before it is pulled in to the catcher. Our lives work similarly in this respect, we sometimes have to set our hook and not let the things that we are fishing for fall back where they were before we caught them. We have to sometimes slow down a bit and focus on the fundamentals. In that way we can rest assured that things will turn out all-right.
