March Winds

Welcome once more to Edmonds Gallery the home of Joan Dance Paintings. On today we have the image entitled "March Winds". In the image we see a woman bundled against the chilly wind that blows in the month of March. On her head is a protective covering. Her hand is in her pocket to ensure warmth. She faces against the wind for added comfort. Above her the clouds billow. The sun seems to be wrapped in cloud. The good news on today is that the Winter is fast fading away and with the departure of this windy month Spring will be with us to stay.

Noel

Welcome once again to Edmonds Gallery the home of Joan Dance
Paintings. On today we have for your viewing pleasure the image "Noel".
In the image we see what appears to be a woman blowing what seems to be a trumpet. A seasonal flower appears at the center of the arrangement.
A banner with the word Noel floats into view. This is indeed the season to be jolly. Therefore going out from here to where ever this is seen, Peace, Love, and happiness to all that see this seasonal communication.

Just for you

Welcome to Edmonds Gallery the home of Joan Dance Paintings.
On today we have for your viewing pleasure the image "Just for you".
We see in the image a salesman and a customer with the center of focus being an automobile that is new to the buyer. The artist shows the hand of the seller looming large over the automobile. The eagerness of the buyer is apparent. The buyer fairly leaps into the auto. In this Holy season we all have things that appear to be just for us. During the honeymoon time of new possession the things that we buy appear to be so much better than they are in the useful life of the new possession. The old adage still applies, "let the buyer beware". Choose wisely the new purchases that are purchased.

Mr. Winter

Welcome to Edmonds Gallery the home of Joan Dance Paintings. On today we have the image entitled "Mr. Winter".In the image we see a man in vivid clothing.Although he is dressed brightly he symbolizes the frozen frostiness of winter. The height of his bleakness melts into the pristine newness of spring. So hang in there enjoy the cool crispness of the season. Rest and recharge, for the new year is just around the bend. Prepare yourself for the newness. Now is the perfect time to think it through. Ahead of time is right on time.

Green Tomato Catsup

Welcome to Edmonds Gallery the home of Reproductions of Joan Dance Art. Today we have the image "Green Tomato Catsup". In the past generation, one of the things that women did was to care for their families. This activity depicted the making of Green Tomato Catsup. All of the ingredients are laid out on the table awaiting the combination and mixing of the preserves. How do we care for our families?

Gleaning Apples

Welcome once more to Edmonds Gallery the home of Joan Dance Paintings.
On today we have for your viewing pleasure the painting, "Gleaning Apples."
In the image we see youth gathering apples that have fallen from a moving train. The youth communicate to one another as they work together to gather the overflow of the fruit of the land as the fruit proceed to market. The city is seen in the background indicating the youth's destination. The overflow of the harvest is what seems to be depicted here. Where is the overflow of our harvest? It surely must be there in this harvest season.

Creek Fishing

Welcome once more to Edmonds Gallery the home of Joan Dance Paintings. On today we take the time to appreciate the time of year. Late spring is the perfect time, and if I could freeze time and enjoy one season only, this would be the season. We see in the image a man in the act of catching a fish. It looks like the fish has just struck the line and the man is in the process of setting the hook. If one wants to pull in the fish one has to assure that the hook is set. In that way the fish has no chance of getting off of the hook before it is pulled in to the catcher.
