So hang in there enjoy the cool crispness of the season. Rest and recharge, for the new year is just around the bend. Prepare yourself for the newness. Now is the perfect time to think it through. Ahead of time is right on time.

Green Tomato Catsup

Welcome to Edmonds Gallery the home of Reproductions of Joan Dance Art. Today we have the image "Green Tomato Catsup". In the past generation, one of the things that women did was to care for their families. This activity depicted the making of Green Tomato Catsup. All of the ingredients are laid out on the table awaiting the combination and mixing of the preserves. How do we care for our families?

Gleaning Apples

Welcome once more to Edmonds Gallery the home of Joan Dance Paintings.
On today we have for your viewing pleasure the painting, "Gleaning Apples."
In the image we see youth gathering apples that have fallen from a moving train. The youth communicate to one another as they work together to gather the overflow of the fruit of the land as the fruit proceed to market. The city is seen in the background indicating the youth's destination. The overflow of the harvest is what seems to be depicted here. Where is the overflow of our harvest? It surely must be there in this harvest season.

Creek Fishing

Welcome once more to Edmonds Gallery the home of Joan Dance Paintings. On today we take the time to appreciate the time of year. Late spring is the perfect time, and if I could freeze time and enjoy one season only, this would be the season. We see in the image a man in the act of catching a fish. It looks like the fish has just struck the line and the man is in the process of setting the hook. If one wants to pull in the fish one has to assure that the hook is set. In that way the fish has no chance of getting off of the hook before it is pulled in to the catcher.

Tooth Brush

Welcome to Edmonds Gallery and Paducah Purchase, the home of Reproductions of Joan Dance Art. Today we have the image "Tooth Brush". We see in the image two youth, one of which seems to be speaking. Since his mouth is open we can see into it. We notice that he is missing some of the baby teeth and the adult teeth have not yet grown in. Whatever has been said evoked an eye roll from the listener. His speech appears to be shocking. This youth must tame his tongue. He must gain his expertise.

Yard Work

Welcome to Edmonds Gallery Paducah Purchase, the home of Reproductions of Joan Dance Art. In this image we find two youth working in the yard. The one in the blue shirt exclaims that "These roots must go to China." Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew. We underestimate. From our mistakes we gain our greatest lessons. We learn as we go. Two Foundations are possible the one of Rock and the other Sand.
