Stretching Lace Curtains

Welcome to Paducah Purchase, the Home of  Reproductions of Joan Dance Art. On today we have the image "Stretching Lace Curtains". We see in the image a young woman with mending tools in her hands, she seems to be in the act of mending. Color fills the image .She appears to be floating above the surface while she works. The sky is a pale blue, with the sun directly overhead. She is intent on her work. This act is a useful act in that we all from time to time find the need of something being mended.

Tooth Brush

Since his mouth is open we can see into it. We notice that he is missing some of the baby teeth and the adult teeth have not yet grown in. Whatever has been said evoked an eye roll from the listener. His speech appears to be shocking. This youth must tame his tongue. He must gain his expertise.

Yard Work

Welcome to Edmonds Gallery Paducah Purchase, the home of Reproductions of Joan Dance Art. In this image we find two youth working in the yard. The one in the blue shirt exclaims that "These roots must go to China." Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew. We underestimate. From our mistakes we gain our greatest lessons. We learn as we go. Two Foundations are possible the one of Rock and the other Sand.

Welcome to Paducah Purchase, the home of  Reproductions of Joan Dance Art. On today we see before us the Image "Young Lady". We see a young lady. She seems well collected. She neither smiles nor frowns. She sits on a chair, that sits on a multicolor rug, that lies on a wooden floor. Through drawn patterned curtains we see a clear day outside. The sun appears over her left shoulder. She sits and thinks. She appears to have done all that she can do and now she allows the Lord to work things out.

Animule

Welcome to Paducah Purchase the home of Reproductions of Joan Dance Art. Today we bring you the image "Animule". In the image we see a creature with it's mouth open. The Artist says that the name of the creature is an "Animule". The sun is in the right or later time of day. The Lord God cares for all of His creatures. There are two paths, the straight and narrow path, and then there is the wide path.

Choir Angel

The background shows stained glass like that of a church. His hands are before him together and his eyes are calm and focused. He has on some sort of a mantle and his head is encircled with a halo. He is speaking. Pray for Wisdom and Discernment.

On today we have for your viewing pleasure the image,” Neighborhood watch 1940.”

This image is a beginning image, for the year 1940 saw the birth of the artist Joan Dance. In this year the practice of looking out for one another was the method of neighborhood protection.

The Artist Joan Dance grew up in this world view. So, in the spirit of watching out for one another we extend the image “Neighborhood Watch 1940.”
